When I was quite young, I was left by my father at an orphanage as he was escorted away to perform a sort of "exorcism" deep in the mountains. He was quite a religious man, and left me at a church on the way to his desination. You see, my mother had already passed away during childbirth.. But Father promised to return one day, but years passed and there didn't seem to be a whisper about the man in robes that disappeared.
After that, I spent her days slaving away over old texts, scrolls, trying to find out what could have gone wrong, or why he never returned. That being said, I pretty much dedicated her reading solely to theology and philosophy, and I am constantly searching for scriptures that are still out there.
